Fulvic Acid Cargo Contamination Testing in Egypt

Enquiry:

A cargo of Fulvic Acid (KFULVIC-AG) was exposed to fire and firefighting water. The consignee is claiming that the product has lost its chemical specifications. 

Accordingly, we would like to arrange laboratory testing on a cargo sample to verify the fulvic acid content and to confirm whether the acidity/alkalinity (pH) remains within specification.

The declared composition of the product is as follows:

Organic Matter: 75%

Humic Acid: 36%

Fulvic Acid: 13%

K₂O: 3.5%

Kindly advise what laboratory tests can be conducted to assess the product condition after exposure to fire, smoke, and water, and please provide your quotation for the required analyses.

Technical Survey of BWTS System of Vessel at Port Said, Egypt

Enquiry:

We are the technical managers for the vessel in OPL Port Said.

Below are the issues faced by the vessel, request you to kindly go through the same and quote for complete health check of the system.

Please be informed that Ballast water management plant is not in operational for long time.

We have found that BWTS Ballast in system power rectifier unit no 02 PCB is not working. (Need to be replaced)

There is no isolation system while one rectifier unit is not working other unit should do work like techcross and UV light system.

Vessel has rectified the TRO unit power supply system fault.

Suggesting checking the whole system by manufacturer technician is there any other issue or not so that we can proceed to the operation while require.

BWTS Commissioning Test at Port Said, Egypt

Please be noted we need water analyses for BWTS commissioning for our good lady ‘__________’ in Port Said anchorage area next week ( Most probably 3-4 June ). The system is PANASIA.
