Liquid Fertilizers Testing as per SEWA in KSA

Enquiry:

I’m reaching out because we need to get some laboratory testing done on our liquid fertilizers to meet the current Saudi MEWA requirements.

Could you let me know if your lab can handle the following tests and what the charges would be for each?

1. Trace Elements (TE) & Physicals:
As shown in image Attached, we need a full analysis covering Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg), Arsenic (As), Nickel (Ni), and Chromium (CrVI). We also need levels for Selenium (Se), Sodium (Na), Chloride (Cl), and pH.

2. Radioactive Elements:
As per image attached, we require testing for Uranium-238 (U-238), Radium-226 (Ra-226), Potassium-40 (40-K), and Thorium-232 (Th-232).

Please share your price list for these specific parameters and let us know the typical turnaround time for the results. If there are any specific sample volume requirements for liquid fertilizers, just let me know.

Crop Protection Products Testing in Europe

I would like to ask about analyzing crop protection products in your laboratory. The reason is extending the shelf life. The requirement for the choice of a laboratory is to have accreditation and certification ISO17025. Could you please give me feedback do you have this accreditation and certification and will it be possible to analyze these products in your laboratory?

Fertilizers Testing in Egypt

First of all, I introduce my self I’m in charging of purchases within GROUP, company specializing in the production and export of cherry tomatoes, we are the african leader.

For our production needs, we import an interesting volume of mineral fertilizers from Egypt for this, we will need ISO 17025 accredited laboratories to do some analysis before loading the goods that are :

  • Multi-residue of pesticide,
  • Chlorates/Perchlorates,
  • Heavy metals,
  • Physico-chemical analyzes

Please find attached the list of active materials which are sought during the multi-residue analysis on fertilizers, and the chlorate/perchlorate on this same matrix.

Below are the methods we currently have :

  • Multi-residue: Analysis by GC-MS, GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS.
  • Chlorates/Perchlorates: Analysis by LC-MS/MS by isotopic dilution after extraction with Methanol

Note that the samples will be taken by a control office such as SGS, VERITAS or TÜV Rheinland .

Pesticides Testing and Certificate for UAE

I am contacting you on behalf of the European company, based in Bulgaria and exporting for more than 70 countries worldwide.

We are a manufacturer of active ingredients and formulated plant protection products (PPPs).

At the moment we are investigating the option of registering a PPP in UAE. Based on the local regulation, we have to provide a detailed composition certificate of our product, issued from a Lab.

Here is the full text of the requirement: “Certificate of Composition of the formulated product to include pesticide analysis in detail: formulation (EC, WP — etc), common name, chemical name, active ingredient percentage and also the inert in detail, solvents, carriers, emulsifiers, diluents, wetting agents etc— in the preparation to show the total as 100%. This certificate of analysis to be issued by certified second party lab applying the standards and practice.”

Our product is a soluble concentrate containing the active ingredients Propamocarb HCl and Cymoxanil.

In order to be compliant with the requirements for registering a PPP in UAE and to complete the registration file for the product, we would need the above mentioned composition certificate.

Do you have the possibility of performing the composition analysis of our pesticide and of issuing a certificate.

We would be grateful if you can advise about timelines and preliminary costs for the analysis.
