Chilled Water Testing of Chilled Water Plant in Dubai, UAE

Please provide your quotation to undertake the six-monthly water sampling, laboratory testing, and condition assessment of the closed-loop chilled water system in Dubai, UAE.

Please provide fixed rates valid until 31 July 2029, as we intend to establish a long-term arrangement for the required inspection and testing services throughout the contract period. The service shall be carried out on a six-monthly basis throughout the contract period ending 31 July 2029. Suppliers shall provide pricing per visit based on the attached Scope of Work.

Description of Works (The summary below is provided for guidance only. Suppliers shall review the attached Scope of Work in full and ensure their quotation includes all requirements, deliverables, labour, equipment, testing, reporting, and compliance obligations contained therein).

The Contractor shall:

  • Collect representative water samples from the closed-loop chilled water system.
  • Carry out laboratory analysis to assess water quality and overall system condition.
  • Verify and report on:
  • Glycol concentration levels.
  • Corrosion protection effectiveness.
  • Water treatment inhibitor levels.
  • Water quality parameters affecting system performance and asset life.
  • Overall system health and recommendations for corrective actions, if required.
  • Submit a comprehensive test report detailing findings, results, observations, and recommendations.

Standards & Requirements

All works shall be carried out in accordance with:

  • SFG20 Schedule 87-27.
  • Relevant BSRIA guidance and best practice recommendations.
  • Applicable British Standards.
  • Applicable Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.

Deliverables

  • Water sampling and laboratory test results.
  • Condition assessment report.
  • Recommendations for any required water treatment adjustments or remedial actions.

Please include the following in your quotation. Quotations shall be based on the attached Scope of Work in its entirety.

  • Lump-sum cost per six-monthly service visit.
  • Lead time for testing and reporting.
  • Sample report format, including test results, interpretation, trend analysis (where available), system condition assessment, recommended corrective actions, and confirmation of compliance with accepted chilled water treatment parameters.
  • Validity of offer.
