Aerodynamic and acoustic performance testing on our new plastic under-seat displacement ventilation diffusers

We are seeking an accredited third-party laboratory to perform aerodynamic and acoustic performance testing on our new plastic under-seat displacement ventilation diffusers. These components will be deployed in a major open-air stadium project.

We require certification in strict accordance with ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 70 (or BS EN 12238 / BS EN 12239 equivalent metrics).

 Required Testing Scope

The laboratory testing must evaluate and chart the following specific schedule parameters:

  1. Design Air Flow Rate: Performance mapping across a range of volumes measured in Liters per Second (L/S).
  2. Nozzle Discharge Velocity: Centerline velocity measurements measured in Meters per Second (M/S).
  3. Acoustic Performance: Noise Criteria (NC) Level rating derived from octaval sound power testing in a reverberation room.
  4. Maximum Pressure Drop: Resistance measurements across the assembly measured in Pascals (Pa).

Acoustic Testing MDF Panels Theatre Riyadh, KSA

I am reaching out on behalf of [Construction Tech], as we are currently working on a theatre project in Riyadh. The theatre design includes a circular ceiling and concrete walls, both clad with MDF-based wood panels.

For this project, we are sourcing materials from two different suppliers, and our client has requested that we conduct acoustic testing to evaluate and compare the performance of the products provided by both suppliers. In total, there are three main MDF-based panel products to be tested.
