The fuel oil samples shall be analyzed by laboratories fulfilling DIN51900, DIN51757 or ASTM D240, and ASTM D1298 for liquid fuels.

The following values shall be determined for the performance test evaluation:

-The lower heating value (kJ/kg)

-The density at 15 °C, 30 °C, 45 °C and 60°C (kg/m3)

-Elemental analysis: Carbon, Hydrogen (mass %).
