As per the information on your website, I believe you have the expertise of GRP pipe quality testing, hence the below is the scope of works required for the GRP pipe tests. Please can you fill in the information XX in the table as quick as its possible, as this is very urgent and we are looking for your quality team to be on the Red Sea Global site on 27-Jan-2025, appreciated for your cooperation on this. We do also have a potential of works coming in future on a large scale.
These tests are to be performed on a GRP pipe with diameters of 300 mm, 400 mm and 500 mm on the site. Nearest airport Red Sea International Airport (20 kms from site) and Yanbu Airport (250 Kms from site)
Non-destructive Tests:
· Ultrasonic Testing (UT): to measure and verify the wall thickness and check for delamination.
· Infrared Thermography: to detect variations in the thermal profile which may indicate areas of delamination or voids.
· CCTV and/or Endoscopic Testing: to check the internal condition of the pipe.
Destructive Testing:
· Hoop tensile testing (HTS)
· Axial tensile testing (ATS)
· Pipe Stiffness testing (STIS)
· Interlaminar shear strength testing (ILSS).
· Flexural testing
· Compression testing
· Thermogravimetric Analysis
