We would like to request your quotation for conducting performance testing and providing a complete formulation for an Oil-Based Mud (OBM) system as per the following specifications:

Scope of Work:

  • Conduct performance testing for GCIR secondary emulsifiers.
  • System to be based on:
  1. 80 pcf typical Barite
  2. OBM with Oil/Water Ratio (OWR) 80/20
  3. WPS approximately 250,000 mg/L

Deliverables:

  1. Final mud formulation.
  2. Detailed test results including:
  • Electrical Stability (ES)
  • Rheology at 150°F:
  • 600 rpm
  • 300 rpm
  • 6 rpm
  • 3 rpm
  • Plastic Viscosity (PV)
  • Yield Point (YP)
  • Gel Strength (10 sec / 10 min)
  • HTHP Filtration at 300°F:
  1. Filtrate volume
  2. Indication of any observed water
  • Test results to be provided:
  1. Before hot rolling
  2. After hot rolling for 16 hours at 300°F
