Enquiry:

We collected sand from seabed during cable repair operation. We observed some abbrasion on cable and it might be due to sand particles (we observed fine sand between armour wires of the cable). We would like to conduct a test to know the particles repartition & also a test to evaluate the “stifness” of the sand to comapre it to the cable. I don’t really know the tests you can provide to evaluate both characteristics. Could you please contact me to discuss about that ?
