Job description: EOT CRANE GEARBOX OIL ANALYSIS & HEALTH ASSEEEMENT FOR APPROX NOS EOT CRANES.
Scope of Work – EOT Crane Gearbox Oil Analysis & Health Assessment
• Collect oil samples from designated EOT crane gearboxes using standard contamination-free procedures.
• Record gearbox details, lubricant type, operating condition, and sampling information.
• Conduct laboratory testing of oil samples to evaluate viscosity, contamination, moisture content, wear metals, oxidation, and lubricant health.
• Assess gearbox condition based on oil analysis results and identify signs of gear wear, bearing wear, contamination, or lubricant degradation.
• Perform visual inspection of gearboxes for leakage, abnormal noise, overheating, and general condition.
• Submit a detailed report indicating gearbox health status, oil condition, risk assessment, and recommendations for corrective actions such as oil replacement, filtration, inspection, or overhaul planning.
• Classify each gearbox condition as Healthy, Monitor, Attention Required, or Critical based on analysis findings.
