In desperate need of a lab capable of doing analysis for Dowtherm as the former lab no longer provides the service.  Does your establishment provide this testing?

The former provider used method AOCS Cd 25a-00.

We have a number of oils and oil blends that we would like to test, 15 samples in total.

Ideally, we would like to have the following executed:

1. We would provide the individual oils and blending ratios
2. Your lab to blend according to the provided blending rations
3. The following tests to be conducted:

  • Fatty acid profile
  • OSI @ 110°C ≥80 hrs.
  • Free fatty acids
  • Peroxide value
  • Impurities
  • Moisture
  • Physical index
  • Smoke Point
  • Flavor quality
  • Odor description
  • Color (Lovibond Red and Yellow)


Can you please let me know if your lab would be able to perform this? If so, please let us know the cost, sample quantity and turnaround time.
