we are a Valve manufacturing facility in Oman and are looking for vendors who can conduct Design Validation Testing of Valves as MESC 77/300.

We have a requirement of testing for 2 valves. (valves will be free issued to FITECH).

  1. 8” x 2500# Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve, RB, Soft Seated, gear operated, Raised Face – 01 Valve
  2. 1 ½” x 2500# Floating Ball, Soft Seated – 01 Valve

The sequence as per MESC 77/300 will be 8. Bi-dir.≥-29°C<0°C>80°C≤200°C

Design Temperature of both valves are:  Minimum: -29 Deg C and Maximum: + 120 Deg C.

Do you have testing tool for torque measurement at various stages which is part of DVT.

Do you have Mechanical Cycling fixture/set up which is also part of DVT at various stages.

Asbestos Testing Environmental Compliance in Peshawar

We are into Environmental services and and Education, a consultancy firm based in Peshawar, providing environmental consulting and social services for projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the supervision/compliance requirements of the World Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB). Currently, we are expected to be involved in the rehabilitation of an existing government building for environmental and asbestos testing. As part of the rehabilitation work, some demolition activities will also be carried out. The donor has advised that a short Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) assessment be conducted, along with a mitigation plan. As an initial step, we need to determine whether any asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) are present within the building or its components. Based on the laboratory findings, a detailed mitigation plan will subsequently be prepared to ensure the protection of workers and the environment from potential asbestos-related hazards. For this purpose, we will collect samples in accordance with approved SOPs, properly seal and label them, and deliver them to your site office in Peshawar for laboratory analysis.

1.      Laboratory testing/analysis per sample using Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) or any other appropriate/approved analytical method.

The Contractor shall:

  • Collect representative water samples from the closed-loop chilled water system.
  • Carry out laboratory analysis to assess water quality and overall system condition.

  • Corrosion protection effectiveness.
  • Water treatment inhibitor levels.
  • Water quality parameters affecting system performance and asset life.
  • Overall system health and recommendations for corrective actions, if required.
  • Submit a comprehensive test report detailing findings, results, observations, and recommendations.

Standards & Requirements

All works shall be carried out in accordance with:

  • SFG20 Schedule 87-27.
  • Relevant BSRIA guidance and best practice recommendations.
  • Applicable British Standards.
  • Applicable Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.

Deliverables

  • Water sampling and laboratory test results.
  • Condition assessment report.
  • Recommendations for any required water treatment adjustments or remedial actions.

Please include the following in your quotation. Quotations shall be based on the attached Scope of Work in its entirety.

  • Lump-sum cost per six-monthly service visit.
  • Lead time for testing and reporting.
