Subject: Inquiry Regarding Phthalates and DEHP Testing in Agarwood Oil (Oud Oil)

Dear Customer Service Department / Laboratory Analysis Department,

We would like to submit a sample of Agarwood Oil (Oud Oil) for quantitative analysis to determine the presence of plasticizer compounds (Phthalates), with particular emphasis on DEHP (Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate).

To ensure that the testing meets the relevant requirements and international standards, we would appreciate it if your laboratory could provide details regarding the following services and conditions:

1. Scope of Testing and Matrix Compatibility

– Does your laboratory have testing methods, such as GC-MS or GC-MS/MS, suitable for analyzing essential oils, particularly Agarwood Oil, or other complex organic matrices?

2. Certified Standards and Detection Limits

  • Does your laboratory have certified reference materials or standards for DEHP, as well as other phthalates such as DBP, BBP, DINP, etc., readily available for testing?
  • Please provide the Limit of Detection (LOD) and Limit of Quantification (LOQ) for DEHP in an oil matrix.

3. Accreditation Standards

– Is the testing of Phthalates/DEHP in an oil matrix included within your laboratory’s ISO/IEC 17025-accredited scope of accreditation?

4. Sample Submission Requirements

  • What is the minimum quantity of Agarwood Oil required for testing (e.g., in grams or milliliters)?
  • Please advise on the appropriate sample storage, handling, packaging, and shipping procedures.

5. Testing Costs and Turnaround Time

  • What is the testing fee per sample (in Thai Baht)?
  • What is the standard turnaround time for issuing the test report?
  • Do you offer expedited testing services? If so, please provide the applicable turnaround time and additional charges.

– ​ทางห้องปฏิบัติการมีสารมาตรฐานอ้างอิง (Certified Reference Material) ของ DEHP (รวมถึงกลุ่ม Phthalates อื่นๆ เช่น DBP, BBP, DINP ฯลฯ) ที่พร้อมใช้งานหรือไม่?

– ​ขอทราบค่าขีดจำกัดการตรวจวัด LOD (Limit of Detection) และค่าขีดจำกัดการวัดเชิงปริมาณ LOQ (Limit of Quantitation) สำหรับสาร DEHP ในเมทริกซ์น้ำมัน

3.​มาตรฐานการรับรอง (Accreditation)

– ​รายการทดสอบ Phthalates/DEHP ในเมทริกซ์น้ำมันนี้ ได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐาน ISO/IEC 17025 อยู่ใน Scope of Accreditation ของห้องปฏิบัติการหรือไม่?

– ​รายละเอียดการส่งตัวอย่าง:

​ปริมาณตัวอย่างน้ำมันกฤษณาที่ต้องใช้ในการทดสอบขั้นต่ำ (เช่น กรัม หรือ มิลลิลิตร)

– ​วิธีการเก็บรักษาและการนำส่งตัวอย่างที่ถูกต้อง

5. ​อัตราค่าบริการและระยะเวลา (Cost & Turnaround Time)

– ​อัตราค่าบริการทดสอบต่อตัวอย่าง (บาท/ตัวอย่าง)

– ​ระยะเวลาในการรายงานผลทดสอบ (Turnaround Time – แบบปกติ และแบบเร่งด่วน ถ้ามี)
