Nutritional Panel and Low GI Testing
We require nutritional analysis for our rice products to comply with US FDA nutritional labelling requirements. Please find the required test parameters below:
- Moisture and ash
- Protein by the Kjeldahl method, using the nitrogen conversion factor of N × 5.95 for rice
- Total fat
- Fatty acid profile: saturated, trans, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fats
- Dietary fiber
- Total sugars
- Carbohydrates (calculated by difference)
- Energy value, calculated and reported in both kcal and kJ
- Sodium, potassium, calcium, and iron
- Cholesterol
- Vitamin D
We require the results to be reported on both a per 100 g and per 45 g serving basis. Carbohydrates and energy may be calculated where appropriate, based on the analytical results.
Kindly provide your quotation for the above parameters, including any discounted rates for multiple rice samples. Please also confirm the turnaround time, sample quantity requirements, and whether you can prepare the Nutrition Facts panel in accordance with US FDA requirements.
