  • Asbestos Testing:
    • Bulk Material Samples: Identification via Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) (please also indicate TEM pricing if required for confirmation).
    • Air Samples: Airborne fiber concentration analysis via Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM).
  • Mold & Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Testing:
    • Airborne Mold Spore Traps: Total spore count and genus identification.
    • Surface / Bulk Samples: Tape lift, swab, or bulk analysis for mold identification.

3. Additional Required Information:

  1. Turnaround Time (TAT): Standard report delivery timeframe and rush/expedited surcharges (e.g., 24-hour / 48-hour TAT).
  2. Accreditation: Confirmation of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation (and/or National Center for Environmental Compliance – NCEC approval in KSA) for the requested testing methods.
  3. Sampling Supplies: Confirmation whether sampling cassettes, media, and Chain of Custody forms are provided free of charge for Option B.

We are writing to invite your company to submit a quotation for hydraulic oil analysis services.

Company: Sdn Bhd, Lot 16, Jalan Sementa 27/91, Seksyen 27, 40400 Shah Alam, Selangor

Requirement: We require laboratory analysis for 18 used hydraulic oil samples taken from our die-casting machines, plus 1 new/fresh oil sample for comparison purposes.

Objective: To evaluate oil condition, contamination level, and hydraulic system/component wear as part of our preventive and predictive maintenance programme.

Minimum Required Tests:

  1. Kinematic Viscosity @ 40°C
  2. ISO 4406 Particle Count / Cleanliness Level
  3. Water Content (Karl Fischer method), ppm
  4. Total Acid Number (TAN)
  5. ICP Elemental Analysis (including Fe, Cu, Al, Cr, Ni, Si, Na, Ca, Zn and P)
  6. FTIR / Oxidation Analysis
  7. PQ Index / Ferrous Density (if available)

Report Requirements:

  • Complete laboratory test report with results and units
  • Acceptable/normal limit, caution limit and critical limit (where applicable)
  • Technical comments and recommendations for any abnormal findings
