Aerodynamic and acoustic performance testing on our new plastic under-seat displacement ventilation diffusers
We are seeking an accredited third-party laboratory to perform aerodynamic and acoustic performance testing on our new plastic under-seat displacement ventilation diffusers. These components will be deployed in a major open-air stadium project.
We require certification in strict accordance with ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 70 (or BS EN 12238 / BS EN 12239 equivalent metrics).
Required Testing Scope
The laboratory testing must evaluate and chart the following specific schedule parameters:
- Design Air Flow Rate: Performance mapping across a range of volumes measured in Liters per Second (L/S).
- Nozzle Discharge Velocity: Centerline velocity measurements measured in Meters per Second (M/S).
- Acoustic Performance: Noise Criteria (NC) Level rating derived from octaval sound power testing in a reverberation room.
- Maximum Pressure Drop: Resistance measurements across the assembly measured in Pascals (Pa).
