Enquiry:
We are requesting technical and commercial proposals from qualified laboratories to conduct Chemical Compatibility Testing between production Demulsifiers and Corrosion Inhibitors. Our demulsifiers and inhibitors are the following:
- Corrosion Inhibitors
- CRW22051
- CRW22529
- Demulsifiers
- DMO22758
- PHASETREAT 19745
- MC MX 1-6000
- Duradem 3901
The objective of this study is to evaluate potential incompatible interactions between these surface-active chemicals to prevent emulsion stabilization, foaming, or degradation of corrosion mitigation efficiency within production facilities.
1. Scope of Work
The selected laboratory will be required to perform the following evaluations using representative fluid samples provided by –:
- Physical Compatibility / Blend Testing: Visual assessment of neat chemical blends at varying ratios to check for precipitation, turbidity, or phase separation.
- Emulsion Bottle Testing: Bench-scale evaluation at simulated field temperatures to measure water drop rate, interface clarity, and residual BS&W across various chemical dosage matrices.
- Corrosion Efficiency Testing: Linear Polarization Resistance (LPR) or Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) to confirm that the demulsifier does not degrade the protective film efficiency of the corrosion inhibitor.
2. Technical Data & Field Conditions (Approximate)
- Fluid Matrix: Crude Oil (~27–28° API), High-Salinity Produced Water
- Average Water Cut: 28% to 32%
- Operating Temperature: 38°C to 64°C
- Chemical Types: MSDS attached.
- Submission Requirements
Please include the following details in your formal proposal:
- Technical Proposal: Detailed testing methodology, equipment specifications, applicable ASTM/NACE standards, and standard fluid volume requirements.
- Commercial Proposal: Itemized cost breakdown per test/matrix run and total project cost.
- Timeline: Estimated turnaround time from sample receipt to final report delivery.
- Qualifications: Key laboratory accreditations (such as ISO 17025) and relevant experience with GCC fluid systems.
We look forward to receiving your proposal.
One of our highly proficient and ISO certified laboratory would be taking over this job.
