I am contacting you on behalf of our company. We are currently bidding for a new benthic survey project in Saudi Arabia (Al Khafji – Dorra) and we are looking for a laboratory partner to support the project.
The work will involve several sampling and analysis activities, including:
- Period: Q1 2027
- Sediment PSD analysis at all sampling stations.
- Macrobenthic analysis, including species identification and assessment of abundance and diversity.
- Sediment chemical analysis including heavy metals, PAHs, and TOC.
- eDNA analysis of water samples to detect marine species, including fish, marine mammals, and turtles.
- Number of samples: Please refer to the attached Excel file.
- Sampling equipment: 5 L Niskin bottles for water samples and a Van Veen grab 0.1m2 for sediment samples.
- Project operations: Offshore activities will be conducted 24 hours a day.
