Periodic Lab Contract for Lube Oil, MGO, Fuel Oil, FF Foam, Fresh Water, Ballast Water Testing

As we are currently reviewing our laboratory service requirements and inviting selected vendors to submit their commercial proposals, we would like to initiate a formal rate contract with your Lab for the approximately 14-15 vessels we currently manage in KSA .

Kindly provide us with your best and most competitive rate proposal for the below requirements so that we can review the same and proceed towards establishing a formal agreement with your Lab.

For products having Sulphur content less than 500 ppm then the standard recommends to do “lubricity” test according to ISO 12156 method & the cost related to this to be provoided seperately in addition to the above-mentioned charges.

Kindly also provide your quote basis the below :

  • Fuel Oil Analysis as per RMG/ RME –ISO 8217: 2017 Spec
  • Foam Analysis -Basic Test/Parameters ref below
  • Foam Analysis (With Fire test and Chemical Stability) ref below

– Foam Concentration Test ref below

Please note the following PO arrangements:

  • Pos will be issued from our Shipworkz Dubai office . 15% VAT to be added as well during invoicing

For each analysis/service included in your proposal, kindly clearly specify:

  • Sample quantity required for each analysis.
  • Turnaround time – number of days required to complete the analysis and issue the report after receipt of the sample at your laboratory. Samples to be collected from our office located at Jubail.
  • Free sampling bottles to be provided, including secure lids/caps and appropriate labels.

Expected Sampling Frequency

Please consider the anticipated volume of samples based on the following frequency:

  • Main engine and auxiliary engine lube oil: Analysis every 3 months.
  • Other equipment: Analysis every 6 months.

We would appreciate your best commercial rates, taking into consideration the anticipated volume of samples and our intention to establish a long-term business relationship with us.
